Laura Taylor, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in orthopedic sports medicine. She was born and raised in Tualatin, Oregon, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, where she was a two-time All-American pole vaulter. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from High Point University in High Point, North Carolina.
Laura has experience working alongside orthopedic surgeons in both the clinic and operating room. Her experience includes evaluating and managing patients in the preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative settings, as well as caring for patients pursuing non-operative treatment. She has experience assisting in surgery, performing musculoskeletal injections, and evaluating and managing a wide range of orthopedic and sports medicine conditions. Laura currently works alongside Dr. LeClere in clinic, where she is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care.
As a former collegiate athlete, Laura understands firsthand the importance of movement, recovery, and maintaining an active lifestyle. She brings that perspective to her practice and is passionate about helping patients understand their condition, develop an individualized treatment plan, and confidently return to the activities they enjoy.
Known for her positive attitude, compassionate approach, and commitment to her patients, Laura strives to make every patient feel heard, supported, and confident throughout their recovery.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys staying active through weightlifting, pickleball, hiking, and golf. She also enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband.
